Part-Time Morning Nanny — Chico
Weekday Morning Role | 3 Young Children
Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, approximately 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
(Slight flexibility available for the right candidate)
Children: 18-month-old twins + 3.5-year-old
Pay Range: $20–23/hour DOE
Start Date: As soon as a strong match is found
About the Role
A Chico family is seeking a consistent, reliable caregiver for weekday mornings through lunchtime. Mother frequently works from home but will leave the home some mornings for appointments and meetings.
This role requires comfort caring for multiple young children and the ability to maintain structure, engagement, and professionalism in a collaborative household setting.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
• Experience caring for multiples
• Current CPR certification
• Strong professional references
• Non-smoker
• Reliable transportation
• Professional communication skills
• Background in childcare, early childhood development, or education preferred
The ideal caregiver will work collaboratively with the mother to help facilitate simple early learning activities — particularly for the 3.5-year-old — such as letter recognition, sounds, numbers, and age-appropriate educational play.
Expectations
Consistency and punctuality
Ability to manage three young children safely and calmly
Comfort working in a home where a parent may be present
Engaged, hands-on caregiving style
Comfort entertaining children in a screen-free environment
Light housework (tidying toys, rotating laundry through machines, cleaning up after snack/mealtimes)
